Prakhar Bhatnagar is our Student of the Month for January 2011. Prakhar is a student of the Diploma in Cyber Law course conducted by Asian School of Cyber Laws.

Prakhar completed a Professional course in Computer Animation and then worked with the company that was involved with creating shows for the Nehru Planetarium in Mumbai.

Prakhar currently works as a freelancer with Amazon.com where he works in Computer animation, Network Security, Image Processing, Artificial Intelligence & Voice Over projects.

He has always had a strong interest in science and has won numerous awards at both the National and State levels. These include National Science Congress Award from Department of Science & Technology, Rajasthan and Best Science Model award for making successful “Anti Gravity Chamber” science model.

On the creative side, Prakhar enjoys dancing and has participated in many dance shows and won several awards for dancing including the Shiamak Davar appreciation certificate for performing in Mumbai in Summer Funk.

G. Soumya is our Student of the Month for December 2010. She is a student of the PG Program in Cyber Laws conducted by Asian School of Cyber Laws.

While completing her commerce graduation, Soumya won a gold medal from the University for topping her batch. She has also completed her Diploma in Marketing.

Soumya has also completed her Bachelors of Law and is also a member of the Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI) since January 2010.

She has worked as a Company Secretary intern which has provided her with a training on various aspects of Indian Corporate Laws applicable to companies as well as learning about maintenance of financial accounts of firms on a day-to-day basis, issuing of Digital Signatures to clients etc.

She is presently in New Jersey, USA and pursuing paralegal certification from Boston University.

On a personal level, Soumya likes reading various kinds of books, especially those relating to the field of lawyers, like the books written by John Grisham. She has also learnt th violin in the past and wishes to learn and play it again.

Umesh Udal Verma is our Student of the Month for September 2010. Umesh is a student of the Diploma in Cyber Law course conducted by Asian School of Cyber Laws.

Umesh has numerous achievements to his credit. This college topper at graduation and post-graduation level has also been a member of the international biology olympiad.

He has cracked the CSIR-NET and the State Eligibility Test for lecturership.

This never-say-die student has won several quiz, essay, poster presentation and science in his college. He has been a PhD representative and member secretary, IIT Bombay.

He enjoys reading, spirituality, cricket and science quizzes.

Anwesha Banerjee is our Student of the Month for August 2010. She is a student of the PG Program in Cyber Law conducted by Asian School of Cyber Laws.

She has also completed Diploma in Cyber Law, banking and insurance law and Diploma in Corporate Mergers & Acquisitions from ASCL Law School (a division of Asian School of Cyber Laws).

Anwesha has worked as an intern in Oxy Petroleum and Doha Bank in Doha, Qatar in the legal departments and learned the various laws and regulations of the State of Qatar.

Additionally, she has a three years degree of Indian Classical music training from Gandharva Mahavidyalaya and has won several inter-school debates.

Anwesha’s dream is to be a successful lawyer and bring about or rather be a part of the positive changes in society. :)

Sonali Jangamswami is our Student of the Month for July 2010. Sonali is a student of the PG Program in Cyber Law course conducted by Asian School of Cyber Laws.

Sonali has completed her Masters in Law and is also a certified CCAP from an international institute.

She is at present, doing her Masters in Personnel Management and is a practicing lawyer.

She is very interested in reading about cyber events and new technology for cyber crime investigation.

Her dream is to complete her Masters in business administration.

Aditya Mahajan is our Student of the Month for June 2010. Aditya is a student of the Diploma in Cyber Crime Prosecution & Defence course conducted by Asian School of Cyber Laws.

He is at present a student of B. Tech in Punjab.

Aditya is a professional skater and has participated in 11 nationals of Roller Skating.

A sport enthusiast even in school, Aditya attended 3 National Sports Meets of Kendriya Vidyalaya and won two golds and a silver medal.

In 2006-07, at the Delhi Roll Ball National, he won 2nd Best Player award in All India Roll Ball and also led his team (Jammu & Kashmir) as captain.

Aditya has recently created a group of 3 people in his college to work on Ethical Hacking, Cyber Forensics and Network Security.

Shweta Prakash Durge is our Student of the Month for May 2010. Shweta is a student of the ASCL Certified Cyber Crime Investigator course conducted by Asian School of Cyber Laws.

Shweta, a law student, has several publications to her name including over view of ‘The Maintenance and Welfare of Parents and Senior Citizens Act, 2007’ and ‘Clinical Legal Education – An Overview’.

Shweta has also achieved 1st rank at State level ‘Essay competition’ held by the Forest Department of Maharashtra, in the year 1999.

Not satisfied with just academic achievements made throughout school and college, Shweta also takes an interest in sports like swimming, tennis and gymnastics. She is also a yellow belt holder in karate.

Kartikeya Paneri is our Student of the Month for April 2010. He is a student of the Cyber Crime Investigation course conducted by Asian School of Cyber Laws.

Kartikeya has an impressive list of educational qualifications, viz. B.Com, LL.B, LL.M – Commercial Laws and MBA-IT. He is, at present, working as a lawyer and cyber law consultant.

In an effort to make a social impact, Kartikeya started PAATHSHALA an NGO for children who are homeless. This NGO helps underprivileged children lead a life free from peril.

Vasudha Asher is our Student of the Month for March 2010. She is a student of the Diploma in Corporate Mergers and Acquisitions conducted by ASCL Law School (a division of Asian school of Cyber Laws).

Vasudha is a law student interested in all things corporate! She has completed several prestigious internships from various law firms.

She has done her bit for the community by working with Helpage India, an organization devoted to rehabilitating the aged, needy and homeless.

Prateek Sethi is our Student of the Month for February 2010. He is currently pursuing the Diploma in Corporate Law conducted by ASCL Law School (a division of Asian School of Cyber Laws).Prateek is a keen student of law and has tried to improve his understanding of the subject by participating in several national moot court competitions.

Very interested in music, Prateek has B.A in Indian Classical Music qualifying in both Indian Vocal Classical singing and playing the Tabla.

Prateek also won third prize for Street Theatre at Delhi School’s Literacy Project.
