ASCL signs MoU with Gujarat Forensic Sciences University

Asian School of Cyber Laws (ASCL) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Gujarat Forensic Sciences University (GFSU) to conduct courses in cyber crime investigation, cyber forensics, cyber law and other areas.

Gujarat Forensic Sciences University is a unique super specialized University and first of its kind in the world for conducting Degree/Diploma/Certificate courses in the field of Forensic Science, Behavioral Science, Criminology and other allied areas.

The MoU was signed on Monday 18th January, 2010 and relates to the following courses:

  1. Post Graduate Certificate Diploma in Cyber Law
  2. Post Graduate Certificate Diploma in Cyber Crime Investigation & Computer Forensic
  3. Post Graduate Certificate Diploma in Securities & Investment Law
  4. Post Graduate Certificate Diploma in Intellectual Property Law
  5. Post Graduate Certificate Diploma in Corporate Law

The MoU was signed in the presence of Dr. J. M. Vyas, Director General, Gujarat Forensic Sciences University.

Student of the Month – January 2010

Happy New Year! :)

Santosh N Khadsare is our Student of the Month for January 2010. He is a student of the ASCL Certified Cyber Crime Investigator course conducted by Asian School of Cyber Laws.

Santosh has completed his Engineering in the field of Electronics and Telecom. He has been a part of the Indian Army for 10 years. At present, he is a Major with the Indian Army.

Santosh has also successfully completed several security courses run by the Army. He is fond of reading and also participates in adventure sports.

Santosh makes a social impact by running the “Eshwari Foundation” an organization dedicated to helping poor children.

Alumnus of the Month – January 2010

Happy New Year! :)

Ritesh Ranjan Sinha is our Alumnus of the Month for January 2010. He has successfully completed the Diploma in Cyber Law course conducted by Asian School of Cyber Laws.

Ritesh is serving in the Indian Air Force and is presently posted at Bhutan. He is a combatant member of the Indian Air Force since 1997 and fought for India during the Kargil War in 1999.

Ritesh is fond of adventure sports like mountaineering, rock climbing and martial arts (Tae-Kwon-Do).

Besides this, he also writes Hindi poetry. He has won appreciation for this from Air Force Station Kanpur, Central Air Command IAF, Maintenance Command IAF and Royal Bhutan Army and Indian Military Training Team in Bhutan.

Recently, Ritesh compiled his first book of Hindi poetry called “Samarpan”. He has dedicated this book to his younger brother who died in 2000.
