Duration: 6 months

Objectives: 
Digital Signatures are becoming the next buzzword in IT companies with the coming of the IT Act, 2000. The course enables participants to understand different standards of cryptography used all around the world and also teaches them the basics, functioning and benefits of digital signatures. ASCL has brought to India for the first time a course on such a sensitive and highly technical subject.

Participants can choose to receive the course material in printed form, in CD ROMs or online.

All participants can avail of guidance from our team of experts. Participants can email their queries to our helpdesk. All participants will be assigned a counsellor who will guide them through the course. In addition, the participants will be interacting freely with their fellow batchmates, corporate gurus and their own counsellors in a series of 'net meetings' scheduled during the period of the course (Participants will be informed in advance about these 'meetings').

Examinations:
Participants shall be required to complete three online assessment exams of half hour duration Participants shall also be required to submit a research project (of minimum 1500 words) on any topic related to Cryptography, Encryption or Digital Signatures. Participants are required to get the topic pre-approved by their counsellor. After the submission of this project, participants shall, as part of their final assessment, have a session wherein a panel of experts shall ask them questions about their project. This session shall be held online and shall have a duration of up to 30 minutes.

Grades will be awarded as follows:

80% and above

A

between 70% and 79%          

B

between 60% and 69%

C

between 50% and 59%

D

below 50%

FAIL

 

Successful candidates shall be awarded a certificate by Asian School of Cyber Laws.
